MAAKbari is a short meaning of Haji Munschi Moharram Ali foundation, also one can say “small house” in such a way. On Bengali language “bari” mean big house, whereby some considers become determined e.g. fishpond, vegetable garden etc. The Idea came from Haji Munschi Moharram Ali, as one builds after certain Model (adapted to nature) with the establishment of a farmer house in Chittagong/Bangladesh, so around village farmers to helping and their situation to improving.
MAAKbari finances self-help projects mainly over partnership, in addition, over single donations, agriculture land in Bangladesh and government money took from. MAAKbari does not make payments to individual persons, only promotes the development project, the social surrounding areas of Building construction, Healthcare, further training, cultural, environmental research and international cooperation in the living environment as well as income creative measures. The projects are supported and implemented with the help of local forces and honorary aides.

Up to the year 2008 the foundation was limited only to Mandaritola, a village in Chittagong/Bangladesh. The follow-up generation of Haji Munshi Moharram Ali decided to extend the foundation structure.

The organs of the association are the meeting of the members, the board of trustees and the executive committee. All members of these committees are basically
honorary active.
The meeting of the members of MAAKbari foundation in Germany, USA, Bangladesh selects executive committee and board of trustees for their country
structure. It controls the executive committee, approves the annual budget, decides amendments of the by-laws and decides over strategic setting the course.
The executive committee is responsible in relation to the meeting of the members. He advises and decides all statutory functions and strategic questions of
the association.
The management transforms the resolutions of the executive committee and pays attention to fulfill the given functions with if possible with small financial
expenditure.
MAAKbari foundation is serving recognition by the tax office Frankfurt/Main as charitable purposes as well as in Bangladesh and USA. You receive at the beginning of the year a donation acknowledgement automatically in each case for your tax statements. It certifies all fiscally deductible allowances of the previous year.
